I wish it was a joke but it isn’t. Almost half of the people do not change their underwear on a daily basis. You do?
According to research done by the brand of shorts Tommy John, almost half of the people in the United States (45%) do not change their underwear daily and 13% of those people confessed that they wear the same panties for up to a week. ONE WEEK.
Men or women?
I don’t know if this makes them feel better or worse, but men are 2.5 more likely than women to wear the same panties for seven days in a row (or more). The same study also revealed that people develop a feeling of loyalty towards their underwear, with 46% of people admitting to refuse to throw old underwear.
Unfortunately, this goes against what clothing brands recommend, which ensure that it is best to throw and buy new underwear every six months since the fabric can collect bacteria that cause infections. Did you know?
